Postpartum Athlete: 6 Week Strength Program
This program is intended for athletic women who are looking to return to fitness or a strength training environment postpartum. The purpose of this program is to complement the content from my online course. This is of great importance, because understanding this new strategy is fundamental for healing and returning to performance goals.
This 6 week program will slowly progress movement patterns in a way that will teach and properly implement a lifting strategy, master movements that will assist in healing, and regain strength in a way that protects during a vulnerable chapter in training.
**It is highly advised and expected, that anyone participating in this program has been cleared by their Doctor, is not experiencing any symptoms of dysfunction, has watched my online course as well as Julie Wiebe’s Pelvic Floor piston, and has seen or is working in conjunction with a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist.
These are critical aspects of having success with this program, and resuming training in general during the postpartum chapter, regardless of level of fitness, delivery, etc.
